Poetry on Prescription
What’s the use of poetry?
You can say it’s self-indulgent, but
Poems have be more use to me
Than any anti-convulsant.
Not by preventing flashes
That’s not the right description.
Poetical explorations helped more
Than any doctors’ prescription.
